B2 is a vitamin that can be found in certain foods and supplements.  A trial was done to test the effect that B2 has on patients with migraines and 59 percent of patients who took 400 mg of riboflavin daily for three months experienced a 50 percent or greater reduction in migraine occurrence.  You can find B2 in foods such as beef, yogurt, eggs, asparagus, broccoli and spinach, just to name a few.  Be sure to store the food away from light because it destroys Riboflavin.

 

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is becoming more and more popular and it has been around for a long time.  Certain flavors such as peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus and sandalwood are linked to relieving migraines.  These different flavors can be found in bath soap, oils and candles.
