Dr. Goldman recently celebrated his 40th year as a practicing Family Physician, having graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1967. His medical focus encompassed all areas of family practice, during the early years he particularly enjoyed treating pediatric patients. His current practice, while still focusing on all areas of family medicine, is dedicated to preventive medicine and influencing positive lifestyles to achieve good medical outcomes for his patients. Dr. Goldman is happy to offer high-quality, convenient care to patients through Family Practice Specialists' telemedicine service.
Dr. Goldman grew up in Dayton Ohio, and after receiving his medical training, he went on to serve as a Captain in the US Army Medical Corp. in the Republic of Vietnam during 1968-69. He completed his military service at Fort Ord, California, as a staff physician at the base hospital. Dr. Goldman has served as Chairman of the Department of Family Practice and as Chief of Staff at Paradise Valley Hospital.
Currently, in addition to caring for his patients at Family Practice Specialists, Dr. Goldman also maintains faculty teaching positions at several medical schools. He works closely with 3rd and 4th year medical students as a preceptor during their medical training.
Dr. Goldman enjoys all outside activities including gardening, camping, and golf. He is extremely involved in his immediate community in North Scottsdale and is actively involved in High Sonoran Desert Preservation. |
