Dr. Schneider is passionate about all facets of Family Practice. He especially enjoys treating multiple generations of families. In his years of practice, he has taken care of three generations of some of the families who are patients with Family Practice Specialists. Dr. Marvin Schneider is the founding physician of Family Practice Specialists, which now has ten practicing doctors.
Prior to moving to Arizona in 1967 and starting Family Practice Specialists, Dr. Schneider was in private practice in Indiana for four years. He also honorably served with the U.S. Air Force 1953-61 and served in Korea 1953-54.
Dr. Schneider has vast experience in family medicine, having served as Chief of Staff at Humana Hospital, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians and a past president of both the Maricopa County Academy of Family Practice and Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. He has also taught Family Practice to medical students at Good Samaritan and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona.
In addition to caring for his patients at Family Practice Specialists, Dr. Schneider is a pilot and also an accomplished singer with a cd and numerous recordings in country western. Dr. Schneider ardently plays the stock market as well as golf and his involvement in charity work is extensive. |
